Reshal Cares For Our Community
She doesn’t just love where she lives, she lives where she loves. Reshal prides herself on taking an active role in the Lake Stevens community as an active philanthropist and volunteer.
Every time clients buy or sell with us, a portion of the real estate commission gets dropped in a bucket. When the bucket gets full, the money is donated back into the community through one of our local service groups, nonprofits or projects. It’s kind of like recycling.
Thanks to her thriving little real estate company, Reshal has donated over $40k back to our community.
You may see Reshal out and about serving our community in the following ways:
Promoting public arts and fundraising as the Vice President of the Lake Stevens Arts & Parks Foundation
Working on community service projects, raising money, and giving scholarships to graduating Seniors as the President of the Lake Stevens Rotary Club
Supporting Law Enforcement Officers and LEO families as Co-Founder of Edmonds Police Department’s Home Squad
Volunteering as a digital marketer and sign waiver for Lake Stevens political campaigns, Fire District Levies, and Library bonds
Popping free popcorn during Movie in the Park and Music by the Lake events
Selling hot, fresh corn on the cob as the Chair of the Lake Stevens Rotary Club’s Aquafest Corn on the Cob booth … while wearing an embarrassing corn costume
Selling wine and beer in the Rotary Club beverage garden during community events
Buying a table at all the Lake Stevens non-profit fundraisers. Who doesn’t love a good auction with friends for a great cause?
In the Aquafest parade as Rotarian of the Year 2018-2019
Reshal’s time and money go to these Lake Stevens Service Clubs and Non-Profits — yours should too!
Lake Stevens Rotary Club:
It’s not just because Reshal is a Past President…but Lake Stevens has the most fun Rotary Club around! Not only do they improve and support the Lake Stevens community by funding college scholarships and completing public projects, but they are also very involved internationally.
Lake Stevens Arts & Parks Foundation:
As VP of the Foundation, Reshal is working hard with a small group of active community members to improve our gorgeous parks and install more public art in Lake Stevens. The Foundation proudly sponsors the Lake Stevens Community Band that plays for free at community events.
Lake Stevens Education Foundation:
The Ed Foundation financially supports our Lake Stevens School District teachers and classrooms and gives away hundreds of books a year to our youngest community members through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. They also provide scholarships for graduating Seniors of Lake Stevens High School. So good!
Lake Stevens Food Bank:
The folks running our Food Bank have taken on a major capital campaign to build a new food bank building on 20th SE to serve more of our community. Supporting the Food Bank is a no brainer.
Sherwood Community Services:
This Lake Stevens based organization does fabulous work providing early intervention services to those in our communities with developmental disabilities.
Together, we can make Lake Stevens an even sweeter place to live.
If you're looking to give back to our community, you’re our kinda people. There are opportunities to make our hometown an even better place to live and Reshal is happy to connect you with the good ones!
